Hotels for DC Challenge?

Hey all.
Just wondering what anyone would recommend for hotels?
Never been to DC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

i would suggest manassas alot of people are choosing to say further down on 66. but you could also head east into woodbridge area really the driving time is going to be about the same

I travel to Pev's for our practices and Leesburg would def be your best bet, it's close and it's not too dead of a town

check Manassas, VA, its close, right off rte 66 and has a lot of resturants. Hotels are cheap, under $80/night.
