2009 MPS Event #1 - April 4/5 - DropZone in Lawrence, KS

Good event Dan! I had fun on sunday despite the cold. I wouldnt exactly call ignoring the game and just running the flag in a loophole, seeing as how the refs will never let that happen ever. Looks like most of the complaints are coming from a single team anyhow...

not yet. I'm hoping to have time tonight to work on that but that depends on how much "honey-do" crap my wife has me do to get ready for easter.

I dont think anyone got away with shooting 13, thats just way to obvious compared to 10. I will agree to an extent tho, because I'm sure some players got away with shooting 11.5 or 12.

i was kidding bro.

we had 5 1 for 1's, we havnt played that bad in a while, but we just didnt play well.we will be back for the next one though.

there was atleast 3 people shooting 15, cuz my team pointed him out to the crono ref

Mine got checked twice Sunday...and I was shooting 10bps. So, I doubt anyone was getting away with any bps shenanigans.

there were some, one gun when the guy started shooting made everyones head turn cause it was deffinently over 11, they took his gun after the game tho

which means if he was cheating, he got caught.

We definatly wernt on top of our game. Telly only 3 of us had gotten solid practices in. Next one should be better

They took it to check if he was ramping and he wasnt! If the players were worried about playing the game instead of whos cheating or whos sandbagging the sport would grow and there would be more teams to play!!! And let the refs deal with it.. because they did a wonderful job at this tourny.

the "Current Standings" page has been updated showing the results of MPS Event #1. To get there, go to the series website which is www.midwestpaintballseries.com and at the bottom of the front page, click on the link that says "CURRENT STANDINGS" then click on the 2009 season.

they along with a couple other teams forfeited and left the event after lunch....
