Well, I think only the original run of Mini's had problems because like any first run markers, there are bound to be kinks. So the newer editions are probably less problem bound.

The gun really is hit and miss, and it also helps to have a competent owner. Sometimes they just don't know how to read an instruction manual or look through stickies which really helps.

i dont know how many minis have been sold, but compare that number to the number of "help my mini is broken" threads and youll see its not really that hit and miss, especially with teh second genereation.
All the marker forums on pbn are filled with that type of threads, even the guns youve payed $1000+ for.
and furthermore, probably around 90% of the prblems are user error.
of the 6 or so people i have met with minis at my field, none have had any problems with it

I worded that wrong. It isn't really hit and miss just hit and miss on whether or not it will work strait out of the package. I know that it is very reliable and easy to use, I've been around it for almost two years now. When I said that many owners don't know how to read the stickies, I was referring to the user error portion of it. I know that it is a particular gun on how it needs to be set up.
I've had mine for probably a year now and its sat for about 6 months when I got my ego. Well one day the ego decided to go down so I got the mini out after not touching, lubing, or cleaning it for six months. I Aired it up and it never had one problem the whole night.

Great gun. I have never had a problem with either of mine. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably cheap tournament level gun

I had some problems with a used one but if you can read you can fix it, as I did.
