PMR Bolt Maintenance.

Step 1
Tools and supplies you will need for the aquired task at hand. (PMR Approved Lubricant, 1/4 Size Hex Allen Key)

Step 2
Having a PMR will make this process go alot faster

Step 3
With your 1/4 size hex allen key remove the PMR Bolt Cap.

Step 4
Unscrew the PMR "stem" from the PMR Manifold.

Step 5
Remove the Tip Bolt O-ring this in process will allow you to slide off the PMR Beer Can. Now with have doing so take your PMR approved lubricant (I use Hater V.2) and lube the inside and out of the beer can, The bolt and the moving O-rings on the manifold. Generally all moving O-rings that make contact with something throughout the Bolt Cycle Process.

Step 6
Slide the PMR Bolt (The long skinny thing ) back inside the beer can and replace the tip o-ring.

Step 7
Now slide the stem back inside the manifold and screw the pmr beer can back onto the manifold.

Step 8
Make sure you align the guide screw with the slit into the PMR Body.

Step 9
Double check one last time to make sure that it is properly aligned.

Step 10
Pat yourself on the back and anyone who says it is a pain to maintain a pmr well you know what to do () but be glad because you just did it hopefully in less than 3 minutes.

This entire thread took me about an hour and some of the pictures may look ****ty but the batteries in my camera were and are now dead so I had to act fast. And I do not have anymore batteries.

But I checked the stickies and there are no pmr bolt maintenance guides so here you go. When I get some new batteries I plan on doing one about the eyes and if I have the time than maybe the reg.

I made this because I was bored and for educational purposes, so enjoy.

Any questions or concerns feel free to pm me or post a reply thanks.

-Darius Berry.

There is already a hyper 2 maintenance guide. But if you hurry you can go ahead and make an eye cleaning guide before someone else does it

I am almost certain that the black beer cans were only released on the 1st run of the pmr's because I can not seem to find them on any other pmr bolt.

So yeah I am guessing they were the 1st run of beer cans made for the proto matrix rail.

This is a good guide, hopefully this will help answer a lot of the new pmr owners questions.

Thank You, And hopefully it will.

This guide is pointing to the newer pmr owners that just got their rail and have no clue how to maintain the bolt.

If you are a newer pmr owner and this helped you out than this made this all worth the while

be specific on how much lube to use, ie enough to make the orings look wet, so just a little, ive seen many pmrs with bad bolt stick and not even cycling because of too much lube. and no lube except dye lube is "approved"
its just many other lubes do the job better than dye's lube

other than that, good guide
