How is this sport suppose to grow, when its fan's won't pay 3 dollars to support it. I doubt i have time to watch it today but I'll spend the 3 dollars to support this organization for attempting to bring live paint ball action to everyone who cannot be there to appreciate it.

ehh, it was for 07 and 08 sometimes it was and sometimes it wasn't.
upo till 06 you either had to pay or just wait for pbstar videos and news updates. Dont take the webcasts for granted

Well this may be true but the uspl's web site said that webcast would be free prior to Surf city open I have no issue paying for anything but i think if thjey said it was going to be free and its not is a bit misleading don't ya think?

-an infraction.
-the joy of buffering every 30 seconds.

The point some people are trying to make is, if you want paintball to be mainstream like football and baseball and basketball etc. WHY WOULD YOU MAKE PEOPLE PAY TO WATCH IT?! You dont have to pay to watch Football, Baseball, Basketball (unless your going to the stadium, obviously)
And dont call people cheap, not everyone has a paypal aco****..

pbstar is out of buisness buddy..
well thats what i think..
and it should be free cause this is bassically the biggest event in 7 man.. and uspl's first event so they need to show the viewers at home that this event is legit... and stuff

if they were to fill out all the divisions, have vendors, and set the event up on the beach with funding from all of their pro teams; then i think it goes with out saying that they are "Legit.....and stuff"
As i was saying about pbstar, if we wanted to watch the event we had to wait untill pbstar put vids up, prior to the popularity of webcasting.

Because the USPL couldn't afford to broadcast it for free. So, for those who want to watch HB via webcast will have the luxery of doing so.
Also Cable isn' exactly free, unless you live in a hotel or some sort of apartment.
Paypal is easy to sign up for, if i remember its just like a forum.
and use your parents credit card, or your debit card.

Well I for one was really disappointed with the PSP live webcast I watched that thing for hours and only got to watch 2 and a half games.
It was cool that it was free but I would have rather paid a few bucks and actually been able to watch the dang thing rather than it be free and it never work.
The webcast, even with the low quality and small screen, was very nice and worked great for me all day.

Ok, so how much would you pay to go watch it live?? Probably nothing, like most others.
Football, Baseball, Basketball. How much per seat?? How many seats get filled?? Plus how many commercials get sold during the TV show??
The fact of the matter is this, the money to broadcast a show has to come from somewhere, paintballers (as a stereotyped group) are not willing to pay for it, so who is?? As soon as you can answer that question you have got yourself a TV show.
Additionally this is why you wont see paintball as a school funded sport, as soon as someone can promise, and deliver, an acceptable "gate" to the school, all of the sudden those "liability issues" will disappear and schools will celebrate the paintball team.
It takes baby steps, legitimize paintball in schools and it will grow from there.
/rant, I didn't intend to go that far. and I just realized we're all a little OT shhhh don't tell anyone
