It seems like getting a club approved isn't that hard, but it may take a while for our turn to come up in the club council. Apparently this time of year there is a flood of applications, so it may be next semester before we are actually recognized. The biggest problem is working out how students that live on campus can keep there markers. Most likely they will have to keep them at someone's place who lives of campus or they will need to store them with campus police. I'm going by today after class to talk about that.
We really need anybody that's interested to announce their presence on this thread so we at least have a central place for info.Facebook may be a great idea.

The closest and probably best field is in Charlotte at PBC, but there is also one in Kingsport, TN. Are you a student at APP?
Just as an update for those of you keepingup with this: I'm waiting on word from University Police regarding having markers on campus (for those who live in a dorm). We need some kind of agreement with them that is written into the club constitution. Once I hear from them we can write a constitution and be on our way.
Ripple1000: how about a faculty advisor?
Anybody interested in going to MAO?

I used to play every weekend at a field in Taylorsville, Command Decisions.. I know they no longer run speedball, but the couple that ran the field are teachers at App. Or least they were last year!
Its Andrew Ferguson and Leann Ferguson. Try contacting them if you need faculty support. and btw I am an app student!

few buddies go to app state (all ranked d2 or d1) but, unfortunately they all stopped playing and started smoking/snorting things instead since well, they go to app....

not sure how close boone is to hendersonville but theres a field there to play at. I go to Western Carolina and want to find some people to start a team with but no one up here plays
