I wish the brushless mini revo came with 2.4. It sounds like its coming with their crap tastic AM radio. Oh well only another $75 to get another receiver for my radio.

I think very soon we will see traxxas converting over to the 2.4ghz systems. They already have it in the brushless e-revo, and will soon go over. I work at a hobby shop, and we keep a tight relationship with traxxas(both of us are here in tx). The two guys I usually talk to, Ralph and Chris, have kind of lead onto that they will come with the 2.4. Not sure though, it could be me just reading too far into it.
They both will be brushless though from what I have also heard. They decided to do it also with the electric slayer/slash.
And just seeing the pictures posted...lookes like waterproof esc and servos on both vehicles? A nice addition.

it would be awesome if Traxxas switched to 2.4ghz
and yes, they are indeed both brushless, but you need a 3c lipo to hit the advertised speed, just like every other vehicle.

I think they will be pretty awsome, even on nimh. Lipo of course will be amazing. 
It would make sense for traxxas to switch over, if they are already putting them into the e-revo brushless, why not everything else? It cant be too hard. But when has a company ever done what we see as a good idea.
