I have a BT-4 SWAT and wanted to upgrade my barrel. But of course im new to paintball and had a question.

How does barrel length or bore size effect the barrel?

How much does a 14 inch barrel compared to an 8 inch barrel effect your shot? or how does the length of the barrel effect your shot?

longer barrels require you to use more gas, thats the biggest difference is length, if you go over 16"you will also start to loose some accuracy however, the best length is about 10" give or take a few

bore size matters also, most people overbore which I find works best for accuracy and consistancy, underboring also will help in consistancy, i dont really like the blow test however (matching bore) because some paint is smaller and some is larger, so if you match your paint out of 500 rounds some will be a bit larger, some a bit smaller, so you get very inconsistant results, if you overbore then even slightly smaller or bigger balls will all be overbored so you get better consistancy,
