Question Which Bolt to Use?

I just got my blackheart in the mail today, and am debating which bolt to upgrade to. I was looking at the Techt L7, and also the Skeleton bolt. Or would it be best to stick with smart parts and get a firebolt. What I am wanting is better efficiancy and increased fire rate. I have yet to try any of these bolts and I just wanted everyones input. Thanks

L7's a good bolt, and if you give me a week, I'll let you know how well the new version of the Deadlywind Hollowpoint does. The only trick to using it is that DW says they don't recommend using it with a QEV because its so light and has so little friction that the bolt speed is too high with a QEV and can cause breaks.... I think thats more an issue with PE and clippard qev's, not the SP360, but I guess I'll see when it gets here.

Personally, TechT and Deadlywind are the only ones I'd really even consider using. Most others aren't anywhere near as light and the quality can be sketchy on many. SP's firebolt is good quality, but won't get the level of efficiency that the L7 or DW will.

too late, but here are my thoughts. Just buy a used Firebolt off this board for $15 like I did. Same oring sizes, very light, and cheap.

Deadlywind hollow bolt at 6.3 grams is the lightest bolt out there for a sp-1 and it bumped me up 25fps over a L6....and it gets rid of the can and you get a bolt stalk and floating bolt

Check out Alamo City Paintball. They have an all delrin bolt that I am currently testing for a local shop. So far it is very consistent and super quiet.

But also, according to DW's website, not recommended to be used with markers with a QEV.. Thus Not recommended for use with a Black Heart board.

working on a shot count will be posting on the 22nd after I've had a chance to shoot a couple cases...I can tell you I had to turn down my reg 2.5 full turns to be at 280 from the install...over the chrono it was around 40fps difference....that was 10 shots with stock and 10 shots with DW....

So I installed the DW bolt last night. Fairly simple and straightforward...

But, when I fired it up today to test it out I ran into some sort of problem.

I dry fired it, and got one good shot. Then nothing...
Now when I pull the trigger, I get a little burst of air coming from inside the grip where the battery is (at least thats how it feels).

Any ideas?

Yeah, screwed it in all the way...

Lubed it the best I could (ran out of lube).
Using stock board.

I'm headed to the PB store to get some air and lube.

Was thinking I might need more lube on the outer o-rings to get it to seal.

ok as I promised the shot results off the sp-1 with BH and DW hollowbolt...
First off it was a wet and rainy 50 degree day...broke only 2 balls due to rain down the barrel...on psp I shot 1856 off a 88/45.... not quite the numbers I wanted to see...and yes I counted all the balls left before I refilled

In my 68 ci tank, I get about 300 shots per 1000 psi. Stock board, Firebolt, 290 fps.
