What is this hole on the grip frame

I have the new style Odyssey RPM and I was wondering what is the hole on the back of the grip frame above the two buttons and the mode/staus indicator led? If you look inside this hole you can see what looks like exposed wire, and inside the grip frame on the board there is a little black box that is lined up with this hole. WTF is this hole for?

it's supposed to be a data port, but odyssey tanked before they ever came out with it.

Well thats kinda disappointing! Sandlot do you know if Evil Pus is OK to use a lube for the entire marker? This stuff is green and lubes my Ion and Raptors really well. So I figured it would be Ok to use on the RPM, but I was making sure before I tried it. Also where are the key points I need to lube?

it should be fine if it works on other guns.

honestly you're RPM doesn't need much lube. a few drops of oil in the asa every time you play should be enough. The bolt and ram are delrin so they do not need to be lubed.

Ehh I went ahead and lubed all the vital o-rings and lubed up the plunger in the bottomline regulator. What I'm really trying to do is stop a very tiny leak that is coming from somewhere inside the body of the gun. Someone suggested that I should lube the gun completely, that doing so actually stopped a leak they had in their RPM.

Its actually a chargng slot. My neighbor put his rechargable spyder battery in his gun, and he can charge it through the slot, but he is using the scenario dreams board...

Wrong. Delrin still needs to be lubed.

I took the RPM out today for her first game. I'm absolutely amazed by how well it performed. Best $35 I ever spent (well $35 + an extra $20 for a Bob Long LongShot barrel)! I wish where we were playing wasn't following our league format and rules, so I could ramp on them.
