Considering the entire Gulf Coast was effected.

Texas has some of the best weather but gets plagued by stupid things.
Texas and Chicago are both contenders for 2010

Our classifications can be found at www.uspaintballleague.com when you click on Registration (under "Classifications").

To sum it up, we are recognizing both PSP and NPPL classifications (whichever is higher should you be classified in both).

A D1 team can have unlimited D1 or SP players, max of 2 Pro players
A D2 team can have up to 2 D1 players
A D3 team is for D3 only

Some have applied to be reclassified or "move down" one level because of taking time off from the sport. Other than that, it's pretty clean and simple but let me know if you have any questions: camille@uspaintballleague.com !

The Pros will play all of their prelim games on Friday and take Saturday off to help out divisional teams and meet/greet fans. The top 8 Pro teams will play Quarter-finals on Sunday, then the top 4 will play Semi-Finals and eventually Finals all on Center Court Sunday.

It's pretty epic in that all 16 Pro teams will only face off twice a year: at the Season Opener (Huntington Beach) and the World Championships in October. At the other events it will only be the 8 Pro teams from that conference (East or West) So don't miss Friday's games if you're just coming to watch!!

What are the three events at which teams can earn conference points? Do teams have the choice of playing either the first or last event in addition to the conference events?

But the question is, is semi pro the same as d1?
If you are classified as Semi Pro in the PSP doesn't that mean that you are D1 in USPL by virtue of not having a Semi Pro division?

Therefore, if semipro=d1 then you can have 2 semi pro players on a d2 roster.
Correct?

Correct?
The play in the same division but they are not the same. Only D-1 players can play in D-2. No Semi-Pro players would be able to play in D-2.

It is one division, called "Division 1" by the USPL. It allows for two seperate rankings of players, either Division 1 or Semi-Pro to play in it. Semi-Pro players are allowed to play in Division 1, but not in Division 2. Division 1 players are allowed to play in Division 1 or Division 2 (providing they do not exceed roster limitations set by the league).

Hmm...ok. I guess it just doesn't make sense to me. I figure if you play d1 you are d1. I guess i cant see the difference between a d1 and a semi pro player in d1 uspl.

Why not make them both 1 classification?

So what happens in the conference events? e.g. DC? There will be 8 pro teams, all will make Sunday, and Friday is just for bracketing Sunday?

Because then you would have Semi Pro players playing on D2 squads

So if a team plays both Surf City Open and World Championships do you take the highest score toward the conference title? Also, at what point do teams get officially classified as East or West?
