How do I change ball detents on SP1?
I heard I can not remove the breech out of the marker, so how do I install aftermarket ball detents? Please help, thanks.

False. You have to remove the breech to replace the detents. It requires a complete disassembly of the marker. But it is very possible.

You do have to remove the breach. It is not as bad as it might seem. I just replaced mine with the tech-t fly on detents. So far they seem great.
here is a link to help. http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...=sp1+regulator

I removed my breach when I was cleaning it after a bad day on the field. (I got pummeled!) It's not hard, but start with an empty table and a cloth laid out. Keeps the screws and small parts from rolling away.

Do any of you people who own a paintball gun still have the manual?! or do you just take it out of the box and toss the box in the trash?! READ THE MANUAL! And yes you can remove the breach.
1. remove back plate
2.remove grip frame (3 screws, 2 under body. 1 in front of grip, 1 behind, 1 inside breach)
3. BE GENTLE!!! Remove board and fittings from breach
4. Remove breach stop.
5. Slide breach out of the body and OMG! you have access to your detents!

It's not in my manual... nor on the website. But it's a simple design.
Lonus has this link for a teardown thread.
