I have tried several types of gloves. I started with scenario and worked my way up to tournys. All I do is wear the Dye gloves till the fingers start ripping out, then cut the tips off and use them till they are falling apart. I still play scenarios and use the same stuff for both. I only cut from the middle knuckle off. That way the rest of my hand is still covered, but my fingers are not hindered. I just got a set of the DYE Core elbow pads that cover your wrist and palm. I have only tried them on, but they seem pretty comfortable and cover a good bit of your hand, but nothing covers your fingers.

I have to agree with above post. The empire freedom gloves are super comfortable. I went with the SEs with the first two fingers open and the last two covered. they are my favorite so far. Also Empire has the pad/glove combo that offers the best of both worlds.

i cut my fingers out, i still some protection for my lower fingers

finda pair of gloves that are really comfertable (you can do this by going to your local proshop and trying on a few pairs)
get two pairs.. cut the fingers off of one, leave the other whole. If you're playing in brush and/or cold - use the full fingered version. If you're playing in warmer weather and don't need full finger protection, use the cut pair.

empire make good glove to cut the fingers off...the contacts,,,not sure if there called something else this year..but the past few ive been getin contacts and cutin the fingers off..makein it awsome for semi and there is lots of protection on the palms and were you need it..deff the best gloves for paintball can be found over at empire
