I hate to be an ***, but I must ask what it is about the Esprit that makes you want one so bad? Considering that most any of the older Spyders can be had for under $60 if you look around, I find it odd that you'd choose the Esprit out of all of them...?

Maybe he's got a thing for older, obscure guns the way some people have a thing for old obscure cars? May not be worth much in the way of money, but he might have a sentimental reason for wanting it. Or he just thinks it's cool..

so your saying that if found a 69 mach1 in mint condition original everything, lets say in my dead grandfathers gararge, that i wouldn't be able to sell it for way more than he originally bought it for?
It would be silly if i thought my 10 year old escort was worth something, and this is the point i think your trying to make. because while my escort aint worth much a little work and i can take it to the circle track for some weekend warrior stuff.
I want an Espirt thats one of the better looking old school spyder IMO

The second part about the Escort is what i'm talking about. I'm a car guy as well, and while my target car is a 69 Charger that i'll pay an arm, leg and nut for, I have unfinished business with a 240Z. Not really a sought after car but for a few of us that have driven them.
Every sport and hobby has it's antiques, and given paintball's relatively young age, markers from the late 80's and early 90's are pretty much like the muscle cars. some have a huge following, some have a couple fans, and the rest are sought after for some reason that is the hunter's own.
