ok i have a 2004 bko. i still cant get the bolt pin out to get the bolt out. i also dont know how to adjust the velocity. i was shooting it today and it double feeded so i looked at the detents and they are a little oring. is there any upgraded detents for it? when i shot it the gun also had drop off. and i have a good reg on it. so i know its not consistency.

can any one help me out with these problems?

I've never had a BKO but the detents can be upgraded by buying rubber washers from a hardware store. The bushmaster ultamite faqs sticky should have a thread on it. Also, some have cut a thin strip of macroline and glued it into the detent oring to make it stiffer.

Your bolt pin can be removed by first backing out the set screw in the back of the bolt and removing the pin tension spring. You will need an allan wrench to do this. From there, you must force the pin out. It's probably stuck in there because the ball has rusted or been gunked up with paint. With the setscrew removed you should be able to force it out (pull) without damaging anything.

Your dropoff may be the product of poor lube on the ram. (Just a guess)

Sometimes the bolts are drilled a little too small. You are either going to have to back the setscrew for the retaining ball or really give it gusto when you pull on the pin.

One Bushmaster I had to put a towel around the top of the pin and pull with pliers.

The dropoff could also be poor lubricating of the HPR or LPR.

we have very good stickies that will tell you all these things. please read them.

not to offend you but before i even owned a ICd product i scoured the stickies so i'd know what I was to do with it. the first thing i did when i got it was tear it apart while watching the videos.
