How many shots off fresh battery - Vibe

Just wondering how many shots I can expect from a Vibe off a fresh Duracell/Energizer battery in 70 degree weather and average elevation/playing conditions using CO2.

Thanks!

I don't have an exact count, but I played a good 8 weekends straight with the same battery and I still have it in the gun now but I don't play anymore thanks to school. *Wisshes for summer to come back *

I've gone through about 3 cases on one battery before it stopped responding to each trigger pull. But I was playing around with it a lot too, and did not disconnect it between games.

I would expect 1 battery should last you a full day of gaming. Around here, they're $8 for a 4pack of Duracell's. $2 to make sure your gat doesn't end up dead.

Thanks guys, yeah I was going to a 48 hour rec game in May and wanted to make sure I brought enough batteries with me just in case. I'll just buy a 4 pack and have 3 extra as backup.

Ya, I'm somewhat disappointed with the battery life the Vibe has. But oh well, I'm switching over to rechargeables.

The Vibe/SP1 solenoid is a direct noid, that is, it uses the battery power directly to open the main valve. This allows for a very economical solenoid.

In most guns, the solenoid used is piloted, which has a very small pilot valve that is opened by the battery, which then switches some air to drive the main spool of the solenoid. So it uses less battery power and a small amount of air assist to open. These are rather expensive and would not allow the Vibe/SP1 to be priced where they are.

If a vibe can get 10,000 - 15,000 shots off a fresh battery, that's pretty good.
