it is the heavest loader out there. do a search for the hopper weights thread and see for yourself. They are NOT good loaders.

IMO they felt a bit lighter than halo's. Oh and it's easier to take apart than a halo.

Also, pulses are pretty consistent so I don't know how you think a pulse is a bad loader.

Ok first off it is quite a bit heaver then all the other top loaders. and it weighs almost twice as much as a Vlocity JR or Pinokio. it is like having a brick on top of your marker. second i have seen 6 out of 7 off them we had on our team in 07 season break feednecks , burn motors, just stop working mid game and have the buttons you push to remove the tray break when being shot. and to top it off DXS does not even support them anymore. so when the shell breaks ( and it will ) you are left with no option but do a Palo mod. The pulses claim to fame if you will was the "unbreakable shell" Ease of cleaning with the removable tray and the RF chip . Well we all know the shell did not live up to its hype . And now you can get a Virtue board for your halo with RF sync up and the Magna has an RF option too. And the torque and,Rotor and Prophecy all have the easy strip down shell for cleaning . So it has no benefits at all any more .

well, there are bad sides to everything.. 200 grams won't be much noticeable with paintballs in it but I supposed it does make a difference. For however long it lasts, it will out perform halos/vlocity's imo. As long as you don't land on your hopper, I'm sure it won't break off.. Though if it does happen, I'm sure all hoppers would break. I personally don't own a pulse in case you think I am being biased.

well i ve seen 3 fly off on normal dives in to snake at practices and tourneys. out of 23 players on our teams in 07 i saw 4 pulse feednecks and one halo feedneck snap and 0 vlocitys break during practices and tourneys .and how can you say it out performs a vlocity ? please explain how it out perfoms it ? it is faster then a halo i ll give you that but not the vlocity . and how can it be better if it is broken in your gear bag ? you say you dont own a pulse . right ? then how can you speak on it? i have and it broke the feedneck in the first 2 months . and i ve owned halos, reloader b, and vlocitys . and the vlocity has had the least problems of all the ones mentioned. never had one break yet . if the pulse is so great then how come DXS does NOT support or make them any longer? companies just dont stop making products that are successful . out of all the ones we had on our team only 1 never had trouble. it is by far the most problematic loader i have personally experienced in my time being envoled in paintball. and how can you say the weight differance is not That big of a deal ? in a time where every marker is getting lighter every year why would you put a brick on you $2000 SL8R? does not make any damn sense to me. i am only speaking from my personal experience with these loaders. if you have had a better one then your lucky.

I LOVE how easy it is to clean the pulse, however, I am no fan of the weight of it (it's friggin heavy for a hopper) and not to mention the low sitting profile.

Picked up a Pulse when they first drop'd, got a good shell'd one; was an awesome hopper while i had it, despite being one of the heaviest out there (not really an issue, go work out kidz ).

Now however, the ROTOR dominates . Pulse is a obsolete / dead hopper.

Did you read the law suit thread? I believe they ended up winning didn't they. So they could make then again if they chose to. But they are obsolete now like the guy above stated already. There are just too many better loaders out there like the Rotor, Torque, Phophecy, all are just as easy to clean as the pulse and are lighter. And to buy an obsolete loader that there is no support for any longer . Just does not make any sense too me.

like I also said before money is why I'm not buying a rotor or anything else that good, you need money to buy things.

Then buy a LoudMouth Torque w/150 Motor, they're around $85 new/shipped, and a decent hopper.

I got a pulse when they first came out and i had the feedneck break after two practices. I sent it in, got a new one, then that feedneck and board fried after a month of practice, then i sent it back, got a new one and sold it picked up a VLO and have never been happier with a hopper other then the prophecy
