Rotor or prophecy?

Alright so I originally ordered a rotor and was told that they only had red and white in stock when I originaltly ordered black. Now I'm second guessing myself and considering a prophecy. I'm not quite sure if I should get one or the other. I've tried the rotor once and liked it, and I've never gotten my hands on a prophecy. Now I like the plug and play aspect of the rotor, but at the same time I dislike the fact that there isn't much tweaking to be done. The prophecy, I like it because you can customize it but I am intimidated by the magnets some.
I leave it to the hands of pbn... What do you think, rotor or prophecy?

I'm partial to the prophecy. I have one and it is the best loader I have used. It is very gentle on paint, feeds as fast and as consistent as you need. Holds 240 balls and weighs less than the rotor, and has different size fronts for different ball capacity. Rip drive, small profile, everything else you need.

It's old and I keep forgetting to get rid of it. Why prophecy?

I personally have a rotor, and it's heavier than a ton of people say. I would go with prophecy. I'm getting one so it would be a rotor or a prophecy. Selling my pinokio i got a Champions Paintball.

I think I may end up with the prophecy. As for the pinokio, we are no longer sponsored and I can use what I'd like. I like the rotor but I think I want more customability

The magnets aren't anything you have to worry about unless you are shooting say Evil or Marbs. Also if you are serious about a prophecy, Simon has an Ultimate Thread up in the Empire forum, everything you need to know about them.

Have a rotor and love it. Battery life isn't the 25 cases Dye advertises but it's still like 15 cases off 3AA. It's quick and easy to strip. The lid works great. Simple... I tweaked mine a bit and it's very fast and very gentle. Prophecy is probably a great loader as well, but I couldn't be happier with my rotor. Last hopper I will ever need.

The grey is pretty unobtrusive but some of my friends dyed it black. Looks pretty nice.

grey...i meant grey, i use the two interchangably in this case.

i ended up going with the white rotor just because in talking with a friend (who was ordering it) reminded me that the prophecy was sound activated and i'm not too partial to sound activated loaders, i'd rather something that doesn't wait for the sound the way the prophecy/b2/b does.

to the guy who talked about tweaking his rotor, what did you do?

Easy maintenance of the rotor has me sold. Consistency is very nice as well let alone speed.

I bent the microswitch. The rotor usings a microswitch with a roller to turn the motor on an off. As the motor winds the spring, the roller moves across a little ramp. The ramp depresses the switch and turns off the motor. Mine arrived at the factory set up to disengage at the start of this ramp. I bent the switch so it now disengages at the mid point of the ramp. It's just fantastic now... fast as hell and handles fragile paint just fine.

There is a thread about bending the microswitch.
