Why so expensive?
you say you wanna make it cheeper for us non-pro players. it just like nppl. Are we going to have to pay for seating too. Why is it so much to play an event? I love 7 man but untill this league proves itself I really dont see how you can overcharge. Remember when d3 nppl was 1300$ now its like 2g's. why? Not flaming just wanted to know. Thanks for saving seven man though.

?
Honestly our intent is not to make money on this league we are jsut trying to break even on HB it just that there are a ton of expenises that go into throwing an event like this. HB is the coolest place to have an even if it wasnt we wouldnt be going there and spening all of the time and effort that goes into throwing an event there. Come to event have some fun help keep paintball alive.

you don't have to spend hundreds/thousands of dollars to attend those games. comparing professional sports to paintball is just silly. when a team and its players spend a lot of money to travel to, attend, play in, support, buy paint from, buy product from - a national paintball tournament, the last thing we want to pay for is a "ticket" to watch the pro's play. +2k entry fee and expenses should be our ticket to be able to watch pro teams shoot each other.

And how is the promoter supposed to afford building the stands you will use to watch the pro's play? Add it in to your entry fee? Now what about those players that don't want to watch the pro's, and yet they are being made to pay for it anyway?
Charging everybody gives everybody the choice.

Maybe they should lower that price back down. Some people should not be allowed to reproduce.

wow......
have you ever tried to run a league.
not just a league that is at your local field that has no setup cost.....
i am not a uspl nut swinger, i will not be playing in it, i dont think it is productive for the sport to have 2 natl level leagues. i just think you have an axe to grind. go play the rpl. goplay the xspl or whatever is gonna rise from that. go play locals and earn local prizes.
dont like it, as said by many, dont play.
your suggestion is not a suggestion at all. just a rant and an invalid one at that. the uspl advertised lower prices with higher prizes. what are they giving.....lower prices, higher prizes. go ahead, say it. 100 bucks is lower no matter how you try to break it down.

I don't care, I'll be there to support the sport.
Keep complaining and not acting and see what happens to this sport.

I personally dont think the prices are bad, espacially compaired to the PSP. You have to charge something in order to pay for expenses of the event and that's all the USPL seems to be doing IMO.

agree
agree or disagree its really simple paintball needs to stay alive the USPL is helping it do that. As paintball players or just people who like paintball on sup air fields or in the woods. support paintball and by doing so suport yourself. It doesnt have to be all or nothing us or them we all play paintball we all like it find a way to get behind that or go and be bitter some where else. maybe under water basket weaving it competitive but no so much that you cant handle it.
