USPL Final Event

The USPL final should be in Tampa rather than Miami... Your thoughts?

Raymond James is just a better venue IMO. Its not because I am from Tampa. I've been to both NPPL events, in Tampa and in Miami. Tampa was a much better venue IMO. I don't have a problem traveling to Miami, in fact, I very much enjoy traveling for paintball. Still think Tampa should be the place tho... Mons Venus? Busch Gardens? Think about it.

The Miami event was pretty weak a few years back, but it was also right after the hurricane and the area was a mess. There were scheduling issues, not enough lights for the fields, hotels were messed up, etc. Without the unforeseeable natural disaster, the event might have went really well, and I would like to see another event there.

Tampa on the other hand, while it might be a reliable spot for a tournament, is consistently lame. Over the past few years the event has gotten smaller and smaller, as have the crowds. Though the mons is awesome and almost enough reason to hold and event there, there are plenty of drawbacks. There is more sand at the tampa event then HB.

I heard they thought about miami but decided no for some reason but it still might be an option. I say HB its the best venue in paintball

at least raymond james stadium is.

i think if its in florida it should be at daytona beach. So it will be like the HB of the east coast. Vegas would be sick only if it was on the strip and not way outside the city.

The Final Event should be held at the series points leader's home field. This could give incentive, at least to the pro teams to be a series leader. Their sponsors could get excited about bringing a event to their home field

there is tons of stuff to do in Tampa, think superbowl ;[] they don't have superbowls in towns with no nightlife or entertainment.
