Will this Pump Arm work in my Karnivor?

http://www.compulsivepaintball.com/i....asp?ic=17102#

I have just purchased this Pump Arm because I am going to purchase an Eclipse Ram and have decided that I might as well get rid of the stock pump arm off of my Karnivor. I did not want to spend $18 on a CCM (Although I bet it is much better) Pump Arm, so I decided to try this one out. Anyone ever use one of these?

nothing wrong with the stock one, as long as you keep the back block from slapping the body. it's aluminum, and the one you linked to is stainless, so it'll be heavier if you swap, too. also, if you want to spend money on a good pump arm, AKA makes some good stuff, too.

Getting a new pump arm is a great idea - that way you don't have to risk damaging the old ram and arm by trying to separate them.

Also - the Aluminium arm has been known to break at high ROFs.

Also #2 - after I removed mine, I realised it did not fit the new ram - because the threads were not formed correctly (probably a worn tap) and then I noticed that the threads on my STO ram shaft had been ground down to make it fit!!!!!

BTW - The Lapco arm is probably better quality than the CCM one.

Where did you find them and how much will it cost me to get one off you?

I'm planning on making some Titanium pump arms in the near future. I'm just trying to find a good deal on some 3/16" Ti rod. When I get some, I'll make a few and test them, and if they turn out good, I'll post them in BST.

My stock Karnivor pump arm won't fit my eclipse ram at all. I really don't like my heavy stainless AKA arm, however.

On almost every stock arm, I had to cut the ram shaft down to fit everything right and have a proper gap between body an backblock...nost of my rams have about 1cm of threads to it...

I think I will just retap the stock arm. it is drilled more than long enough for the ram shaft, but isn't threaded the whole way apparently.

I can say for certain that if you have a working cocker that shoots just fine you are one of the three, or all of the above. 1- you are not an idiot. 2- you know someone who is not an idiot. 3- you have enough money to pay someone who is not an idiot. - jonotwist
