not really a question but just wanna say its great seeing some of the people i started playing with in central cali (dave and john from karma) making big news.... go get emm guys..... ill see u all soon, im just still ballin in Europe

We all know that this is a hard road ahead. By no means are we saying we are coming out on top....not this year at least. I could go buy Pro Talent but rather would like to keep the heart and desire of the guys we have now....we may have a surprise addition to the team..keep posted.

Been around for 3 years. Use to be XSV "Farm Team", last year we broke off "only" because of sponsorship changes between both teams.
We still grind it out every weekend sat & sun with XSV.

EXPLICT-

THIS IS OUR STORY…

It started with an invite to a birthday party at a paintball field. As parents, we had zero knowledge about paintball…what the heck is paintball and are you going to get hurt, etc. the typical parent grill session, so we decided to come along and see what paintball was about.

Turns out that not only did our son Ryan have a blast, so did Rob (aka Dad). Rob couldn’t stand watching from the sidelines anymore and found himself inside the store buying everything he could put his hands on so he could get in on the action too.

The boys started hitting the local paintball fields on the weekends and just couldn’t get enough of paintball. Both Rob and Ryan clearly remember standing on the sidelines watching Team XSV practice. There was such a high level of competition, strategy, and adrenalin pumping on the field. This only fueled their passion for the sport, both thinking to themselves…wow, could that be us someday? At that moment, they set their sights on a goal, they recruited a few friends and Bay Area EXPLICIT was born.

In 2007, EXPLICIT entered the XPSL Series (Xtreme Paintball Sports League).

As the year moved forward they had advanced to D3 level. In 2008, EXPLICIT continued to push forward and advanced to D2 (Novice) midway through the season. Although we had only participated for half of the season at the D2 level, we were able to secure a Third Place Over All for the Series. Also, in Nov 2008, EXPLICIT entered the final event for National Professional Paintball League (NPPL) in San Diego CA placing within the “Elite 8”.

EXPLICIT continued to practice relentlessly, often holding “double practices” every weekend to elevate our level of skill, team synergy, and competition with the vision and goal of competing as a Professional Team within the next two years. Our hard work and drive has proven to reap positive results.

Now 2009, a year ahead of our goal, we have been given the opportunity to compete at the Professional level. With a slight change to our name, San Francisco EXPLICIT is now a Professional Franchise in the U.S. Paintball League (USPL). We consider this a privilege and take a humble approach to this challenge. We are not a team made up of “superstars” and have much to learn, however, we are a team that believes in our Guiding Principles and we continue to live true to them. EXPLICIT understands that commitment, desire, energy, and hard work are the keys to our success.

Our sincere gratitude to all who have supported us on this journey as we look forward to the future and your continued support for 2009.

We believe that: “Our level of success and the ability to persevere lies in the efforts put forth and that we must practice harder than others choose to do so or desire”.

As they keep saying they have the dedication and they know what its going to take...They have the help of XSV who is a great group of guys..I just wanna see how they'll do against XSV..that would be a nice game for the finals.
