We have looked at venues in Texas and are highly considering Dallas for 2010. What's tricky is hitting regions of the country that have a high concentration of 7-man teams and hitting them when weather is favorable. HB is always in March/April - so that leaves a very narrow window for a Florida or Texas event before the summer heat rolls in, which is of course followed by hurricane season. We will likely be in Southern California for the West Coast Open at the end of August but are looking at multiple venues in various regions for the World Championships. When that venue is narrowed down I will def. post it here to let you all know!

I'm literally counting down the days til' Boston.
Edit: How are you handling registration? APPA with ID cards seems like a swell idea.

each team decides what leagues they will play in. the leagues have no monopoly or control over this.

The Denver events were close to my heart too as that is where all of my family is. Unfortunately it was also one of the NPPL's most expensive events. Staff flights, rental companies, venue fees, etc. were just much higher than most other venues. This doesn't mean at all that Denver is out of the running for any future events however, but it does make it a tougher sell!
