It does not!!!
I dial my markers in all the time for 270fps. Hot or cold, rain or shine. I have excellent results with reliability and accuracy. At less than 100 ft I have shot toes that were sticking out and almost hit barrels. The trajectory at distance is a little like artillary but its fun dropping paint over a bunker onto someone's head.
