QEV stand for
Quick
Exhaust
Valve

What it does is; allows the air to escape at the QEV instead of going back into the solenoid. This in turn allows you to drop your dwell adjustment.

ok so i was talking to the guy at my shop about this and he says u want it as low as posible but still allow the bolt to cycle, the lowest setting is 8 (way to low) so what i did is i went all the way down to 8, clicked it up twice so i know where it was, then i went up 5 too 15, which worked but seemed a lil sluggish so i went up 1 more and it started to work great, so u just ganna have to try it, but remember once u do that u have to set ur rate of fire

theres no best paint out there really. make sure you are checking your paint when you buy it. if its shooting left and right you either have dimples in your paint or heat is making them oblong. i just got a qev as well and am trying to find the right dwell right now.
