first tournament question

if my team has been practicing on a hyperball field and we got the essentials like sliding, laning, etc and our first tourney is at a different field on an airball course will it be a drastic change and disidvantage to us? thx in advance

it will be a disadvantage in that you are not practicing on the same type of field. hyperball and speedball are waaaay different if you ask me. Try practicing on an airball field?

Not game breaking different, but about half game breaking different.

Expect to be sprayed a lot less and the layout to be quite a bit different. Try practicing the same layout on the airball field a week before if possible. It will help quite a bit.

Yes it will be different but if you have the basics down you will adapt quickly. I find a air field easier to play on because you can play bunkers closer by pressing into them and they are shaped better. The best thing to do would be to get there early and walk the field a few times to get the feel of it. Try getting behind the bunkers and have your other teammates watch to see if you are hanging out anywhere. Yes practicing on a air field would be best but you have to use what you have avalible.

^^ Good ideas there.

It's just a game. Get out there and giv'er a try. You might not be successful your first game but you learned and had fun

the changes wont be that bad. My team practices on a hyperball feild and it acualy helps us cause we learn to make sure we know were are body is at all times cause some of our bunkers have cracks big enough to shoot threw. The bigest thing is you wont be used to aculy being able to get up tight to your bunker. Air bunkers you can push into so you will be tighter rember that and you should be fine
