Overkill
I have a custom build that I've almost finished (waiting on parts) and wanted to share. Tell me what you think:
Here are most all of the parts ready for assemby.
Each ION has its own pressure gauge for chrono
Each regulators installed
Eight ION installed
Front Marker mount and grips installed
Barrels installed and temp hopper installed. I still have to build the 8 line forcefeed hopper
And here are the tanks installed. There are 4 tanks, each feeds two markers.
I still have to complete the electronics, run all the air lines, install the swivle mount, and do some field testing. It will be able to fire semi or full auto. Adjustable from 8bps to 160bps (20bps x 8). |

so the question to answer is how/where are you going to mount this? Also are the ions mounted to converge at a distance or are they all idealy parallel?

IONS are adjustable. So they can be parallel or converge. Customer says he's going to mount it on his tank.
Right now the plan is to have either trigger fire ONE marker. The next trigger pull will fire the next marker in sequence. It you pull and hold both triggers, the markers will fire full auto at whatever ROF you sent. So it would be field legal since its semi auto (one pull, one ball) and you can ramp up the speed if the field allows it.

Curious if you are going to have an agitation hopper. If ball get jammed in a normal grav feed you just shake it but there is no shaking that beast.

i applaud your cradtsmanship, but tha should never be used over a normal range of ROF. using that to its fullest potential on people.....well that really is inhumane. i really hope thats not seeing real playing time?

Looking at 8 haloBs for the hoppers. I'll cut the tops off and make one big hopper that the halos will pull balls from.
the tank will need a tube mount and is will be able to rotate and aim up and down.
