I was looking at a Dovetail ASA. DO I need an S-Rail for it? Is it recommended? and will it work with my vibe

like a CP on/off? Yes you will need a rail of some sort. But I'm sure that Sean will endorse the S-rail.

So... I work for Smart Parts and I use he S-rail.. lol...

What I would recommend is that you go to your local paintball store. They should have a wide range of different drops and asa's. See which looks good to you and feels good as well. I have used many of them out there and I prefer the shorter rails, but then again, this is personal preference. If you purchase an on/off that has a dovetail, then you will need some sort of rail to attach it to your gun.

Then yes, or even any drop from CP and many other aftermarket ones will work as well. That dovetail is a standard throughout the industry.
