nah my both of my friends had vl with ganster chip, it was really fast, but it drained their batteries every week.

They had their settings too high then. That is the blessing and the curse with the gangstar. You can set it up to where it runs slow and eats no batteries, where it is perfect, and where is will crank out 30 plus bps but will eat batteries in a day.

Your friends just need to turn the tension down to where it constantly feeds and leave it alone.
