Closer Back Cap

I just got a Closer and notice that it has the old cap that doesn't have the BL logo on it. I've heard of the older Closer back caps breaking and am assuming that this is the one. Now I'm guessing that blah, blah it breaks and you send it to BLAST to get it fixed, but if this happens to me and since my back up is in peices I'm literally screwed. Will blast send me one without sending in the old one as a "just in case thing"? How likely is it that these things really do break?

They rarely break. Just make sure that the screw in the back cap is securely tightened. Even if it does break, you can just call BLAST and they will send you a new one that day.

Yeah, make sure your back cap is flush with the frame. then you should have no problems.

Back caps break if they aren't screwed in all the way due to back pressure from the firing cycle slamming into the cap, causing lots of force to be put on the little screw hole. It won't break as long as you make sure it is nice and tight.
