wait so this means that players from pro can jump to where ever they want? So now in theory If you have someone on your team with a nice wade of cash he can go find a player in say the psp who doesent play for his pro teams nppl squad and pay him to play on say a d3 line? Thas what im getting out of this.

Relegation in the NPPL is when at the end of the year, the top 3 Semi-Pro teams move up to the Pro division and the bottom 3 Pro teams are relegated to Semi-Pro.

This doesn't have anything to do with the rules for the number of players per classification allowed to play in each division or the rules for classification if you mostly play in the other league.

I'm not looking for conspiracies at all. I'm just saying that if the pro division is not expanded, then NPPL opened themselves up to a line of questioning that they didn't necessarily need to face by not making this decision before the event was played.

Promotion and relegation are two separate issues.

The top 3 semi-pro teams will be promoted. The question at hand is if the bottom 3 pro teams will be made to play Semi-Pro or allowed to stay in the Pro Division.

indeed. IMHO staple teams like the Dogs and Miami Rage should NOT be relegated. they show up to every event and have been since 2003. Now because of 1 missed tournament(hurricane) they were not given the same chances other pro teams in the bast have had.

It is not fair for a pro team that only played 4 events to be relegated. I believe you should have to play 5 events and based on that score relegation should happen.

Rules

Not taking sides here at all, we earned our promotion so we have nothing to gain. Nowhere in the rules does it say you have to play 5 events, it just says at the end of the season the bottom 3 teams will move down. Now should the AA spot be saved even though they gave that spot up and did not show up to the last event. Whatever the NPPL decides we will go with. We are under their control and will play whoever they put in front of us.
