I keep hearing different things about relegation and the divisions for next year.

I heard rumors that there would be no teams relegated this year. I also heard that D1 and semi-pro would be the same division next year.

Anyone heard the official word?

about the whole d1 and semi pro thing being the same i think there doing that because of the new 5 man but i dont think they should.. just add the 5 man to the bottom :]

5-Man doesn't have anything to do with it btw. It was just added to the bottom. I think the divisions are being combined because of lack of teams.

It sure would be convenient for Dynasty to not be forced to move the Entourage slot up to pro, but I mean, we all know that the NPPL would never do anything to help Dynasty

Hey John,

There was multiple times on the live broadcast that the regulation was talked about and which teams were in the cross hairs if they didn't preform well at this event. That of course still is not the official word from NPPL staff but would be a good thing to gauge things on.

I haven't had a chance to listen to much of the webcast. But at the event, teams were talking about it. I just haven't had the opportunity to ask about the final word.

So if teams are getting relegated, anyone know who the bottom 3 are? Rage and the AA's looked doomed, It looks like Damage will escape the bottom three because I believe they advanced. Naughty Dogs looked good, but I can't imagine advancing makes them safe, how high do they have to place?

How about the top three for promotion?

Don't you have to have relegation, in order for teams to be moved up? Isn't there a cap of 18 in the pro division? I thought that is why there's always the same number of teams being promoted as there are teams being relegated?

Regulation not going to happen but team being promoted is going to happen.. i think there promoteing cause i think some teams might not play next year..

To the Josh Davey thing he might still be feeling his leg injury that happened at neo so he might be taking it easier playing with the semi pro squad. If their is no movement this year then wouldnt it be a near pointless year for all semipro teams?

Bart from Impact did indicate on the Webcast on Friday that Josh Davey and one other player did move down to SP for this event to help Impact SP's chances for promotion.
