How will this trigger work on my gun?

I'm thinking about getting this trigger:

http://www.actionvillage.com/011-269-0119

I have two questions to ask before I buy though.

1) It says it's for the rail, but since my SLG is the UL version, does that mean that it will still work for it, or will I have to get the SLG version of it?

2) My old gun was a Spyder MR2 and on that gun, I got used to putting my middle finger behind the trigger as a means of a safety. Will I be able to do that with this trigger?

NO. that trigger is for the PMR, not the slg or the 09 slg.

what?

edit: for #2...the slg is electronic...turn the gun off when your not using it and it wont shoot.

I'm talking about when I'm on the field and I'm running or crouching behind a bunker and I don't have time to hold it down for three seconds to turn it off or on.

I know, but I want to have a nice, secure hold of the gun that will allow me to hold the frame with all four fingers. Now, will you please just answer my question, will I or will I not be able to put my middle finger behind it as a safety?

well, as i've already stated, that trigger is made for the pmr, not slg or slg2

Damn... Well, is there a way that I can bring the trigger farther away from the frame? Because right now, I can just barely fit the tip of my middle finger behind it, and I'm sure that if it was brought out just a little bit further, I could probably fit it all the way under it.

turn out the screw which the manual states will bring the trigger farther away from the frame.

Honestly, instead of replacing the trigger you should consider finding a different solution to unintentional shooting while moving... Besides, most of the time your gun should be up (and sometimes shooting) while moving.

Good luck!
