Has anyone played the 5 man field yet

I know the field layouts for SD have been out for a while, but has anyone had a chance to actually set them up and play on them? We've got a tournament coming up where they are using the 5 man setup and I was curious as to what other people had to say about the layout.

Pic of layout added for simplicity's sake.

We played it in a tourney just this past weekend and it played rather slow. The snake was pretty good if you got in there, however if it wasn't off the break it was kinda precarious to get in. But as mentioned above the middle dorito can lob balls over the snake so be careful there. The center dorito also can keep that dorito side/corner in check. The carwash is a good defensive bunker but you can get stuck there if you don't watch out. As for the dorito side, it plays different each game. Sometimes, you can get some good elims from there but other times once you get to the brick you kinda run out of options. Overall it is a rather slow playing field from what we saw, alot more gun battling than usual, but, overall not horrible.

haha. I wish I could. The closest field to us with an NPPL setup is almost 2 hours away. That's quite a drive for a poor college team.

doubling up the car wash is prime on this field... as one person can lock down the snake and one person can lock down the ladder side... also when we played this the games seemed very quick and many opportunities for big game changing moves... and its easy to make big moves off break.

play it X BALL style.stack the snake side from the car wash, and lock down from dorito side then push hard on that same later side.

Do they indeed play this 5-man field on a 180' x 100' size? I have heard many rumors that NPPL 5-man field size is 150' x 100' but from what I have gathered from NPPL sources it's 180' x 100'.

We trying to replicate this field to practice on for next season. I know the layout will be different next year but I am manly concerned with the correct size. Thanks
