Wobbly 09 SLG ASA rail

Alright, so I got my SLG a while ago and I got to play with it for the first time today. As I screwed in the tank, the ASA seemed to get more and more loose. I tightened the thing on the inside of the grip frame that's supposed to keep it in place. It worked for a little bit, but after every game I had to keep tightening it. It was the most annoying thing ever. So I loosened it all the way and I discovered that it wasn't the ASA that was giving me problems, it was the rail that it slid on to. So I tightened the two screws that kept it there as much as I possibly could and put it back together. Then, when I put my tank back on, it kept pulling at the rail and made it loose all over again. It was so loose that I just wasn't able to play with it at all. Thankfully I had a back-up gun, but I really want to fix this. What should I do?

Umm... I'm still rather new to paintball (2 months) so I don't know what that means. Could you be a little more specific please?

lol locktight has nothing to do with paintball silly, its a liquid used to put around threads of any screw which drys, and makes the screw tight in place w/o it vibrating out. it acts as a temparary glue but make sure to get blue cause you can break the seal if needed, you can find it at wal mart or lowes.

i say get an expanding type rail instead. those vertical screw/ballbearing/etc pushing ones have never worked for me.

I haven't got around to getting the loctite or getting it checked out at a shop yet. I'll probably do it on Thursday. The shop I bought it from really backs up their stuff (I bought an HPA tank from there and the threads and regulator somehow got all ****ed up and the guy that runs the store replaced it for free.) so I'll go by there. If he can't do anything, then I'll check out the loctite.

local shop or better yet get a new ASA Custom Products?

CP direct mount or a CP On/Off ASA (new one i think?)

Or look around your local fields for anyone with the 08/09 SLG and problems with theirs?

=]

(Remember you're paying 200 for a gun ($100 for the UL Frame) the ASA can't be that good can it?)

Alright, when I took it to the guy i bought it from he said he put something like tethanol (I think that's what it was called) on it. So far, it's not too wobbly; it only wobbles as I put the tank on or take it off. if it does go back the way it was before, I will buy the blue loctite.
