i bought a new pmr NOT 09

i just bought a NIB PMR for my bro from god knows what year . I'm assuming the seller is trying to get rid of his old pmrs to make way for pmr 09. I got it for 205 shipped and am assuming its been on the shelf for a while.

Whats the oldest this pmr could be? any way i can check? I'll be getting it this week so i want to know What i should lube up before airing it up. I know definitely the bolt.

first off, you are in the wrong part of the forums. theres a Rail section in the proto forums.

the old rails were made anywhere between World Cup of 2006 to World Cup of 2008. from factory they lube the bolt with a mass amount of lube, so there's nothing to worry about with old lube drying up.
