just got my paycheck, gonna buy SV2's
yeah i know its really unnecessary. but ive used the altima boots a couple times and i hate them.
and seeng im going to be putting them to use a lot coming up this winter i figured id pick up a pair of rocky SV2's
i take a 8R with the altima's which is odd because my normal shoe/sneaker size is 10.5/11 depending on the brand of shoe.
does anyone have any experiance with these boots and can give me a heads up on what size to order (since you have to order them offline)
i don't believe that the rocky's are goretex so walking in the snow is going to get wet. what boots are goretex besides the bellvilles?
thanks guys

Yeah I've got a pair that I love.
What size do you wear? I have a pair of 9.5s that I could hook you up with.

Don't buy waterproof boots. They are only useful in the winter.. the lack of breathability means that if they get wet (from your perspiration or from water entering the top of the boot) they will take forever to dry out.. and will hold any water in them causing immersion foot. Take my word for it these boots are the best thing since sliced bread and they are cheap

With boots like these you can just change socks if they get wet, and your boots will dry overnight.

Listen to the wise man above you....buy non-waterproof boots....you can always buy a nice pair of warm socks...and again just learn to change your socks....trust us...been there done that....won't do it again!

Speaking of boots, how easy is it to get a new pair of those green flight line boots? They are supposed to be oil/slip resistant soles, but the soles seem to be made like **** and they are wearing down quickly. It just seems as if they will give way on wet/slippery spots on the flight line.
