pmr eye covers

Im not sur eif its just mine or not but, my eye covers dont sit flush with the body. it feels like the eyes are keeping them from being flush. any suggestions? oh and yes the eyes are in properly.

no stock covers, virtue eyes

with virtue eyes, i've known ppl that have had that issue. u have to sand down the inside of the eye covers to get them to fit properly

i have the stock covers and eyes and on of my plates arent flush...but i ordered metal 1s and also a new trigget, back cap and feed neck...all silver. its gunna look nice. an i have a freak kit on it.

yeah mine dont sit flush either, but they cover the eyes so they are doing their job and works for me

well you wouldnt want to sand the inside of them down because if there not flush something must be holding them out (the eyes) so if you sand it down your just goin to put stress on the eyes even more and not fix your problem. But my eyes covers sit some what flush and some what not.

I have two sets of the alloy eye plates made by Proto for my PMR, both sit perfectly flush with the body. I have had stock eyes and Virtue eyes in there.

There is a little sweet spot on it though. Make sure the plate is sitting level before you go to screw it down. Also, like everyone else mentioned, make sure everything is out of the way underneath. If you added spring detents, make sure that those are sitting properly etc... There is no reason you shouldn't be able to get them to sit flush.
