Punishers doesn't sell the Element frames. The only way to get one is either used, or to find one of the few people on here that still have new ones. There is a link in my sig to a pic of my ion, it has a V2 frame on it.

Yep, Robinsucks, aka John, is the only place to get them new right now.

Basically what happened was I didn't want to do preorders, but John was nice enough to loan me the money to make the frames. I never really turned much of a profit on the frames, so the ones he has are more or less paying off the debt I owe him for the initial investment.

john is a great guy, so if you buy a frame from him, you are not only helping me out, but helping him out as well.

I haven't been very active in the ion community, or the paintball community in general recently, but I do watch these forums and hope that one day I'll be financially stable enough to release new products that you all can enjoy.

Ion Wars Episode 6: Return of the Element.

All lame Star Wars references aside I think that you should do that!

And to be on topic, you could do what I did, which is design your own. I wouldn't reccomend it if you don't have a lot of time though, because it is VERY time consuming, atleast the way I did it. I started it a couple months ago and I've only completed the outside of the frame, not the inside where the board goes.

The same. I didn't go all out, but i "chromed" it, slotted the trigger guard, and i plan on milling a pocket for the rear frame screw (so it stops digging into my hand) works fine, but there are lighter options out there.

the lightest frame thatcan be bought is the NDZ scorpion frame. I used to have one on my ion previous to my last one and he was very light and comfortable to hold.
