sigh...i never understood why spike lee called clint eastwood a racist because he failed to portray african american soldiers. The movies he has done so far unfortunately does not have a lot of african americans in combat. Letters of Iwo Jima was made from the perspective of the Japanese....so it is save to say there was not that many african americans serving the Japanese army.

Unfortunately African Americans as well as Japanese Americans did not combat in WWII with the exception of a few segregated units. The US military was still segregated during WWII. It was not until Korea was the military desegregated.

Who cares if blacks did a lot during the wars? Anyone saying that is being racist themselves. If we are all equal, then we are all the same. You can't have a subset of black people and white people when talking about things. PEOPLE fought in the war. That is all. We don't say "people with green eyes did a lot during the wars," do we? No, because all people have eyes, just as all people have skin. So stop being racist ****s you asshats.
