come to lvpp on friday night. what is wrong with it?

i'll pump the the marker and cocking rod goes back i pull trigger and cocking rod clicks into lug but when I air it up the cocking rod clicks half way in when I pull trigger but if I push the trigger and the cocking rod together then it fires normally PLEASE HELP
