yea it has been tested
it really only makes a difference during high rates of fire (12-15+) and it needs to be pretty cold outside (below 20*F)
i believe we measured 18*F when i did my test and only saw it make any change over the chrono during the high rates of fire

OK people im home and have taken a Picture of the insides
You can see how it works the best thing is how simple it is, the Standed ASA on off pushes the piston onto the bottla valve.

Heres a little video of it turning on and venting , this has both extendes toghter so its really really long LOL
http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l9...t=DSCF2388.flv
Oh and for the people that asked if it can be used for a HPR extender , YES it can once you remove the Pistons , But i still have no clue why you would want to LOL
But ha it looks alright

yea, but 33 dollars plus shipping...dayumn. they are nice looking, but thats crazy exspensive. there is no way that they cost 15-18 dollars just to manufacture.

So what? Pickles take a decent amount of time to make but you don't see them costing a lot do you lol?

You have to think of all the costs when trying to (un)justify a price. Materials, machines, and enough profit to pay the workers (even though MD is family owned) and to pay other things like bills.

Actually James doesn't have to justify ANYthing to you...

Pickles? Really? Your logic is so flawed...

If you don't like the price, don't buy it

(You own other high end paintball equipment, go ***** to those manufacturers...)

33 bucks isn't that bad for an assembly like that. Time, material, anno, shipping.....not to mention distributors and retailers need to eat too.

I need to talk to Juan.

i don't think its that high of a price
ASA's cost this much and just as much time and material goes into those

there is also the fact that MD probably won't sell alot of these like they do with guns and other things so the profit margin must be higher on them

You probably haven't noticed the prices of metals going up up up for the last couple of years.
