I think we've all been in this situation at least once. So what is the proper way to handle this situation?

on the 3/4/5 team - do you just bunker the **** out of the poor soul and not even give him/her a fighting chance to slowly bring down your numbers, but risk losing more of your team in the process. Or do you take it slow, a little less risky than the bunker him/her approach, but then again you could end up slowly losing ppl and ending up with a 1 v 2 or 1 v 1 situation. Or something else?


The lone paintballer - Do you run to the back center and try to take angles on the people approaching. Run to a corner and well get cornered but you just have to aim at people in front and to the side of you. Or do you just try to clear a path in front of you and run around in circles throwing them off and hopefully surviving and maybe even winning? Something else?

Just curious what really is considered "what you SHOULD do" in these situations (on both sides). Thanks

Well that actually happened to me 2 days ago, all my other teamates has been killed and it was only me left,and the opposite team had four ppl, well i ran into a two story build and figured out there positions, i took one out with a head shot across the other side of the field, and i had the other 3 pinned down, even tho they had me surrounded. I had my building locked down, they were to scared to come in, and time eventually gave way, but i think i handled myself pretty good,

Sweet. I guess I should have specified though I meant in speedball/xball/airball where the two story building/fort might not be an option.

I believe he was referring to speedball. In that case like has been stated before, doctrine is usually a corner if its a one against several situation. Going to back center makes it possible to be shot from two angles so it becomes that much harder to protect yourself.

The 3/4/5 - Have one hang back & lane the player's bunker, then have a couple people move up on either tape side, forcing the player out of one side or the other so you can catch him in the pack/butt/whatever. Don't recommend bunkering someone in that situation, you've got strength in numbers.

The 1 - try to take a corner. Shoot inside but keep looking tapeside so you don't get bunkered. You can still try to get the flag pull for the points but don't expect to win the game.

up guys -- put mad paint on him while a couple of your go bunker him, that way you have a guy or two in the back keeping him in and if he does get one of the gets coming to bunker him, you have another to finish the job.

your it -- depends on Xball or Nppl games, Nppl, I think your more screwed cause you dont have help so basically check both sides of the bunkers and try and fight them off. Xball on the other had i find is easier and have come across this many times, watch a lane(best to watch inside of the field, duh) and let your sideline coach let you know when to swtich. Better chance of working, I almost pulled off a 1 vs 3 but the last guy got me.

3/4/5: Hammer at the person and don't let them come out of their bunker. Control the game and **** the person up
1: depending on where you are on the field, you can try to push your side HARD and hope to turn the tables if the opposing team can't isolate you fast enough or take out the individuals as they come at you. Remember that you need to gunfight, cause if you don't they'll just come harder at you

it was 3v3 and my 2 teammates got shot out and i was at snake 50 and i noticed backm left ran out of paint because he hasnt moved/shot and im in 50 snake and they had back left/right and center i ran to the x and the back center goes to run down the rigth side and i light him up now back left walks off and i bunker back right
