How is the PM8 for you?

Hey all, I'm sure its one of those threads, "that pop up every minute" but whatever. I want to know to those who own the new PM8's, how are they? I really like the new design. A friend of mine told me that they chop a lot yadda yadda, stuff like that.

Can you guys give me the negative side of the PM8? What issue's have you encountered during your time with it. Did you love it or leave it?

Thanks.

it shoots like a matrix and the way the entire gun feels when you hold it is just amazing. It's light, compact, fast, smooth, reliable and for the price you just can't beat it.

nothing i dislike about it except the eye pipe and ribbon eyes and even those haven't given me any problems yet they're just a matter of preference.

Some early markers had issues with the bolt kit, but Proto will fix the bolt kit it you have problems with it. Normally results in people blowing o-rings despite running sensible LPR and HPR pressures. Something to look out for and resolve if necessary.

Other than that, great marker.

Other than having to lube it after every 3-4 cases, it is awsome

So far i love mine. Small light quiet. Only downfall is the feedneck. $20 will fix that though.

my bolt would lock and not work unless I lubed it again. then it would only work for a game or 2.

I got the newer bolt from Dye and never had a problem after that.

same issue. same solution. gun shoots darts now. fast, quiet, accurate. I usually lube mine after every practice or between days at tourneys so I never have bolt stick issues.

My pm8 has been working without any problems so far. Just clean and lube the bolt assembly every 2-3 cases of paint.
