PM8 at low velocities?

Hey all,

I have finally saved up money within two summers and I almost have enough for the PM8 (or 9 if it comes out at a reasonable price). I was planning on buying it on Boxing Day when I predict I will have just enough money. I was thinking though, I remember reading a long time ago on some dead-beat forums that the PM8 only does well at 270+ FPS? Since it was deadbeat nobody disputed or agreed so I do not know. What do you guys think though? My local fields are mostly indoors, and only allow 230FPS, but I technically could get away with 250 as most people do it anyways. Would the PM8 function well at these velocities? If anyone could take the time to answer, or even test it out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advanced.

It will work fine at this velocities, just remember to set your other pressure to compensate.

Thanks for the reply, but could you clarify what you mean by "other" pressure?

he means your LPR. I played all summer at an indoor that was 260 max and didn't have any issues.

Thanks for clarifying that. But 260 is a long way ahead of 230
