Quick hose question.

Does anyone in here know the diameter of the Ion pnuematic hose. I need to know the diameter of both the big and litte. It would be appreciated.

The outside diameter of the hoses are 5/32 and 1/8th, if I am correct. Just take a look at your banjo fittings, they'll have a ratio on there. Makes sense to me that is a good indication of the diameter. If you mean inside diameter, then, Ive no idea.

If you have trouble finding this out let me know, and i'll bust out my calipers.

Larger hose is 4-mm OD, 2.5-mm ID. Although 5/32" hose will also work (the metric hoses is used for the larger inside diameter on the barbs.

The smaller hose is 1/8" OD, 1/16" ID, same as many other markers that use hoses for the solenoid (cocker, impulse, etc etc)

If you had the 5/32" hose rather than the 4mm could that be why its so hard to get the 360QEV on?

Well the QEV goes on the smaller hose (the 1/8") so that shouldn't effect it. But it's true that there are some hoses out there with slightly different inside diameters (for instance 0.06 instead of 0.063 like they are typically). It can take some force to get them installed....
