Why is there a BMX/MTB thread.........its like comparing apples and oranges, shouldn't these two very different sports each have their own thread?

this is the first time ive ever ventured off into the sports section of pbn haha...i had no idea anything like this existed until now..this is awesome..ill get some pics up of my bike tomorrow and some pics from last weekend at the brooklyn banks!!
