Hey guys i just bought a LNIB pm8 for $500 so i got a little $$ to spend on it. How it the stock barrel. Are the OK? thought about an ultralight but if there isnt any point in having one than i will spend the $$ on paint. Thanks.

They will shoot the same basically the UL and stock Proto barrel that is, spend money on paint.

my stock barrel doesnt take paint thorght it it gets stuck
does that mean it hasnt broken in yet or sumthing?

Wait you just said your paint gets stuck in the barrel? That would be swollen paint or your referring it stops in the middle of the barrel and takes a little air to push it through (Which is normal sometimes depending on paint to barrel size ratio).

And did you just ask if it needs to be broken in... How do you break in a barrel?

If he just asked if he needs to break in a barrel. I think you need to vist a shop NOW. To get proper maintain advice so you don't F up ur gun in the future at least.

I assume that you are just rolling the balls through the barrel not shooting?

For one thing, it means that the barrel is probably a little tight for the size of ball you are using.

Assuming that the barrel is a perfect cylinder, and the same diameter from end to end, it most likely also means that your paint isn't perfectly spherical (and it never is), and in this case has turned slightly while going down the barrel, to a point where the ball is a bit wider, and that is why it has caught in the barrel.

Switch to a slightly smaller ball, or get yourself a wider bore barrel (if you always use the same size paint), and that should resolve that problem. The diameter of a ball can change with temperature, humidity etc. so it isn't a bad idea to have a wider barrel in your bag anyway.

got a UL barrel that i used on my pm8 for sale we can work something out check out sig let me know either way with your offer. They helped me shoot more accurate
