Can get closer to turn on

Ok Worked 2 weeks ago.

Put in two different BRAND NEW batteries. When first goes in no problem but get purple solid light (lower eye problem), I have made sure its clean there. But when turn eyes off the second time no problem could shoot.

But when marker was turned off and checked the eyes again, does not turn on. Also I checked all the wiring harness everything is plugged in and no kinks or rips or tears in the wiring at all so should not be having this problem.

As a reminder this is a Closer so its Quad Eyes and Tadao Board (all of this was stock because thats what the closer comes with).

Any help greatly appreciated.

check the batteries.

brand new dosen't always mean they're good. I've had bad batches from the store where all 8 of my brand new batteries in the box were dead.

This may sound REALLY dumb, but make sure that you have the + and - on the right tabs. On marqs there are no markings or anything of that sort to show you how the battery should go in. This happens to me a lot when I change batteries. Put the battery in one way and if it doesn't work, just flip it over. And if that doesn't work then I have no clue, good-luck.

Take the board out of the gun, unplug your harness, and put the battery to it--then turn it on. That will tell you whether the board is bad or not.

dcbiii: thanks never really thought of that. Thats a good idea.

Gun is over a year old now too just for information incase that helps anyone.

I will try that part tonight, wife is out of town so have lots of time on my hands after the gym. LOL

abs: already thought of that too, so i had the grips on when trying to turn it on. I can attest that I know I am pushing that inside button too.

ok took board out.
at first wasn't turning on again and I was frustrated tried 2 batteries. then did a third and it went on.

Heres the thing (Tadao board out of a closer don't forget)
Turns on shows Purple light (bottom eyes blocked?), so I click the switch it turns YELLOW, meaning Eye malf., no problem understandable since nothing is plugged in and the board is out of the gun.

Press the button again to turn the eyes off. And WHAMB board goes off and won't turn back on again unless I unconnect the battery *kinda like a reset* then start all over again.

Now I try it in the gun with it all plugged abck in and everything and same problem.

Send in to BLAST??
The crappy thing is that I am in Canada and I am looking at 2 weeks min off without this marker.

I would call Tadao and explain the problem but it sounds like your board is busted. You'll need to send it in.
