Hello i be playing at the end of this month at emr 26 hour game and thinking of putting a 5w led tac light on my action marker pump.Has anyone seen anyone put a barrel mount light on a paintball marker yet??

I play scenarios and the only thing a small flashlight on your barrel does is tell everyone where you are and scream "Shoot me!" Your better off just playing real slow and methodical maybe near an opening where there is a little moon light. Night play is a WHOLE nother beast and it takes a while to get used to it.

Putting a flashlight on a gun for paintball is silly. Even in the military the only time you would use a weapon mounted flashlight is if you had to enter a dark area such as the inside of a building, or to stop a car speeding towards you at night. Using them outdoors is counterproductive since it basically tells everyone "hey here I am aim at this and shoot me". It would just kill your natural nightvision and make you trip over something.

Break open a glowstick and use the goo to paint a glowing target on your face too.

Get it it will help a lot. Like if there is a bunker or building in the scenario you must enter. Maybe even a cave..

I mount my Surefire on my Cocker for night games.

I use it for two things...
A. Loner Eliminations (IE Ifthere is only 1 or 2 guys in an area I'll wait till they get in range, hit them with 65 lumens of Goodness which freezes them like deer in the head lights, take them out, and then move out myself)
B. Recon by Fire/Designated Target (its amazing how fixated people get when they see a flashlight shining at night in a night game. Its like they forget everything about other people being on the field as well as they try and shoot me out becoming easy pickings for the other guys with me)
